To mark the opening of Zannier Île de Bendor, Kate is accompanying one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive hospitality projects with a personalised electric shuttle, designed to circulate across the island and transport guests throughout their stay.
Located just a few minutes by boat from Bandol, Île de Bendor is one of the Côte d’Azur’s most iconic private islands, and the historic island of Paul Ricard. Zannier Hotels opened the property on 1 May 2026 with a clear ambition: to offer an immersive experience dedicated to the art of living, gastronomy and wellbeing.

In this context, mobility could not be approached as a complex or ordinary vehicle. On a private island, every detail contributes to the guest experience: the arrival, the journeys, the materials, the colours, the uses and the transitional moments between the different living spaces.
It is in this spirit that a Kate was designed according to the personalisation wishes of the Zannier teams.
An electric shuttle designed for the island experience
Already present on the island, the Kate is used as an electric shuttle to support the movements of guests and teams across Zannier Île de Bendor.
Its role goes beyond that of a simple transport vehicle. In an island environment, where the pace is naturally softer, it becomes part of an elegant, fluid mobility experience that is fully aligned with the spirit of the place.
Zannier Île de Bendor is accessible by sea shuttle from the port of Bandol, with a crossing of around seven minutes. Once on site, the island invites guests to embrace a car-free philosophy, in keeping with its preserved Mediterranean atmosphere.
The Kate therefore extends this logic. More than a simple beach car, it becomes part of a Mediterranean experience: a mobility solution in harmony with its surroundings.
A Kate personalised around the identity of Bendor
For this collaboration, the Kate was configured to integrate naturally into the visual world of Zannier Île de Bendor.
The chosen configuration combines a light blue body colour, a white and ochre striped bimini, Dune upholstery and several branded details across the bodywork, including the Bendor cross and the resort’s logo.
This personalisation creates an instantly recognisable vehicle, both functional and deeply connected to the identity of the place. The Kate becomes a moving design element, adding a kinetic presence to the island’s landscape, conceived to interact with the architecture, colours and atmosphere of the surroundings.
On a private island, a vehicle does more than transport. It appears within the landscape, accompanies arrivals, moves through the living spaces and sometimes becomes one of the first physical touchpoints with the hotel experience.
